After and before the rain...

After long day at work I came back home and rest while it was raining through most of the afternoon and evening.
I took a picture of racing clouds. Four tower blocks make the picture more interesting and give varied horizon.

Picture was taken from my room in the flat in my home city to follow the idea of running photo diary for Canım. Just like Isabelle Neukor did for Vincent Ettrich in White Apples (Jonathan Carroll).

Hidden Manchester...

Last days in Manchester... soon our adventure will be over. We've decided to spent beautiful and sunny day in the city centre. It was great and funny. The plan for the whole day was perfect and timeconsuming, because we've left scheduling process to the professional in this matter - Yogi :D. We were planning to have a relaxed day in Manchester after all the exams and essay writing.

1. Stage (13 pm -17 pm) City Attractions

We went to Town by train from salford crescent at 13:03 pm to the victoria station. First stop was Cathedral and then Urbis, John Ryland Library and City Art Gallery.

2. Stage (17pm- 20 pm) Movie

We went to Odeon to watch the movie of ' Angels and Demons' .

3. Stage (20pm -22pm) Dinner at Turkish Restaurant

We went to have a dinner at a Turkish Restaurant named 'Topkapi Palace'. Here is a link for Menu http://www.onionring.co.uk/menuholder.asp?section=Restaurants&RID=3323&menu=topkapi_palace_2.gif

I'm glad that I could spend my last days in the UK with all of you Erasmus Students in the city, which brought me happiness and live for the last one year.
I will never forget those moments...
I will always go back to my memories and pictures which will remind me the best days of my life...

The most beautiful place in the world

Holyhead, Holy Island, Wales...

Fortunately we had good weather, otherwise we would be stuck in the end of the world. It was sunny and warm. The main aim was to get there, visit the city and get to the lighthouse on the other side of the island, what was a little bit problematic considering the distance.
We were lucky, because it appeared that this island has unbelievable friendly inhabitants.
In the Maritime Museum we had met a man who promised to pick us up from the Breakwater Country Park straight to South Stack, where was the aim of our trip. From the seaside to the country park we took the small train, which looked rather like a tractor with trailers...
However it was worthy to spend there some time. The place was really nice and quiet, lots of green areas and some rocks over the sea.
The man who promised to pick us up, occured at the meeting point on time and took us to lighthouse with his car. So kind of him... We are still impressed by his kindness.
When we have arrived we saw amazing view. 3 and a half hours journey was nothing in comparison to what we have seen. I didn't want to go back home from this place, but we had to.
On the way back to the train station we hitchhiked and spent 3 hours in different trains with the most bizarre people ever. In the end it doesn't matter, it was worthy. Check it out !

European Capital of City 2008

8 people, 1 city and 1 brilliant day... During essays writing period we went to Liverpool for a one day trip. I've already seen the city, but I went there one more time with a big pleasure. On our obligatory list were two cathedrals, city centre and Alberl's docks.

Except normal pictures, which you can here, I've managed to to capture this particular and unique moment.

Muffin Session at The University of Salford

The most increadible habit we could ever create is Muffin Session. I haven't been at first Muffin session in winter semestre personally, but I have heard a lot of about it and together with Veronika and Martin decided to continue it in spring semestre.

The result is better than I have been expecting. We are meeting every Tuesday in the Cafe Livres in the library at 11.15. While sitting around the table, we are chatting about EVERYTHING. Literally every topic is within reach and there is no topic, about which none of us can not say at least something. We have already discussed: Languages in Europe - differences and similarities, The end of the World - proceeding and time, Penal Laws, Economic Crisis, Death Penalty, Self-defense and Possession of weapons.

During the entire academic year we had only one chance to go out and have outdoor Muffin Session. I could not stop myself to take some pictures. And our core team is not complete, because for some of us it is still Easter Break.
